Dennis Horgan’s Man-Cave

February 12 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Dennis has collected a large number of motorcycles and bits, including all of my Norton spares, so if you’ve been looking for some parts you might get lucky there. Dennis could probably be talked into selling more than a couple of the bikes he’s accumulated.

There will be refreshments, including food. If you drive there you might consider bringing a folding chair and your own favorite adult beverage. The forecast between now and then looks pretty decent so I think riding will be a reasonable option for many. As you can see below, Dennis is offering a delivery service for purchased items that cannot be easily carried away.

It’s always hard to tell how long these things will last, so if you are thinking of coming late, it would be wise to call Dennis first at (303) 475-1591 to make sure it’s still live.

The address is 2364 Industrial Lane in Broomfield. The garages are up a driveway behind a machine shop on the west side of the street. (The other side is all railroad tracks). The sign in front says “Off-Site Garages”. The garages are about 1/4 mile north of the Sil-Terhar car dealership. It’s best to google it, but if you come to the intersection of Wadsworth and 36 you can take a road that turns left and goes downhill underneath the Wadsworth overpass. Turn right at the light onto Nickel Street, go over the railroad tracks and take an immediate right onto Industrial Lane. There is a gate at the entry to the facility that will be open, so drive to the end of the driveway and turn left (only way possible) and park in front of my units #214 and #218. If you don’t mind a short walk, there is a row of parking spaces on the left as you go up the driveway, and it might help the congestion if some of you parked there. You can park in front of any garage door, but if the owner shows up, you’ll have to move. Debby’s tools are in #218. Debby has a roll cab with chest, and a tool cart containing her tools. And also a harbor freight motorbike lift. And Debby has three motorcycles that need homes too. For those who don’t have access to pickups or trailers to haul the big items, I’m offering free delivery throughout the front range to anyone who might need it. (Delivery fee payable in beer.)
