The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

Sunday September 29, 2019

10:30 Meeting, 11:30 Departure 2855 Walnut St. Denver, CO.

The event is worldwide and there are official rides organized in many cities. You need to register and log in to get info on a ride, in order to be sure all riders are registered. The Denver ride has 240 riders registered so far. The other part of this is raising money in support of men’s health.

Here is how we’ll do it:

You can earn full points by registering and participating in a sponsored DGR ride wherever you are, on any motorcycle that falls into the announced categories:
Cafe’ Racer, Bobber, Classic, Tracker, Scrambler, Old School Chopper, Modern Classic, Sidecar, Classic Scooter, Brat Styled motorcycles
If you do an official DGR ride on your Norton you’ll get 5 bonus points.

If you want to do your own DGR ride by yourself or with a few select friends, you can earn full points by making a donation (on the website) and riding a moto of the above type while wearing clothing that meets the spirit of the event (e.g., your best suit). All you need to do is arrange for a photo to be taken and sent to me. Even if you are far from any organized DGR ride and do not even have a running Norton you can earn full points.

Norton Colorado members who are unable to ride can still earn 2 points by making a donation.

All of this requires you to let me know how you participated.

There is a Team set up for Norton Colorado on The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride site if you would like to join the Team.
