I have a 1951 Norton ES2 that I have had since I was 18. I’m coming up 71. These days I try and get out on her once a week and this weekend we are away on a Lakes district rally. I was looking for information on stripping the gearbox and found your club. Replaced bearings bushes and a couple of misbehaving gears. I disturbed the gear quadrant and cam plate and it created some serious head scratching to get sorted. I’ve just run her through the gears and all seems fine so happy days. I have Velocettes BSAs AJS a Zundapp Bella project and a couple of veteran Rex’s.
